Check out this post from a Kos diarist (relative kicked out of "Christian" school for being gay)
http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2010/3/3/842722/-My-Nephew-was-outted,-and-then-kicked-out-of-school-

I am just beside myself tonight. This afternoon I got a frantic call from my sister in North Carolina. Her 18 year old son was outted at his school today. She had expected he was gay, but due to her religious beliefs, never wanted to believe it. Well today, he was outed at his private Christian school. The principal called him in to his office to ask if the allegations against him were true, and he admitted that they were. He was immediately kicked out of school. He's a senior and was scheduled to graduate with honors in just 4 months. Can they do this?

The full story is below the fold.

1. Probably can since it is "immoral" according to their
belief. It certainly is not Christ-like in any way.

2. They can and they did
and he'll have to repeat that last semester in order to graduate, raising red flags all over the place. He'll have to kiss the Ivy League goodbye, if that was ever a consideration, and think about going to a state school.

However, his life is far from over. He's learned a hard lesson about the rigid bastards who like to parade around calling themselves Christians and I doubt he'll ever get conned again.

He'll profit from this lesson far more than he'd have profited from graduating on time with honors and getting shunted into a bible college where he'd have had to endure four more years of hoping no one would find out his terrible secret, graduating with a fine education that would permit him to run an insurance office, about all they're good for unless a GOP zealot is in office.

3. Anybody see what graphic photos he was posting and sending online?
it sounds like that might have been part of the decision.
