What happened with the James O'Keefe story?
Somebody attempts wiretapping a US Senators phone and it's just forgotten? Buried? Some higher ups in the GOP dirty tricks establishment must be seriously covering tracks to make this go away. People in the "James O'Keefe funding and direction" game.

2. There's nothing new to report.
O'Keefe made bail, and the court granted a 30-day extension on Feb. 24 for the prosecutors and defense attorneys to reach agreement or for charges to be formally filed. On or about Mar. 24 or 25, there'll be a new O'Keefe story.

James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles: Knott's Berry Farm's Newest Attraction
By Matt Coker, Wednesday, Mar. 3 2010 @ 3:27PMComments (10)

James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles, who became the darlings of Fox News last fall for posing as a pimp and prostitute to secretly videotape ACORN workers in five cities giving them stupid advice, are coming to Buena Park Saturday to preach to the choir.

The choir would be the hard-line conservative California Republican Assembly (CRA), which holds its "75th Anniversary Celebration & Endorsing Convention" Friday through Sunday at the Knott's Berry Farm Resort Hotel.

O'Keefe, 25, and Giles, who turns 21 on March 15, are Saturday night's dinner banquet speakers. These young 'uns deserve the prime speaking slot because their undercover work captured ACORN workers "eager to assist with tax evasion, human smuggling and child prostitution," claims the CRA. "These videos ultimately led Congress to terminate all of ACORN's federal funding."

That description conveniently leaves out many important facts about the speakers and the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

4. He was ordered to stay in New Jersey, except in case of court approval.
And I really doubt the guy would make a huge public appearance in a different state without court approval. Even he's not that dumb.

5. Still I would love some journalist to check into it. He is arrogant enough to believe
he is above the law.

6. The whole thing is an exercise in futility.
He and his pals are too well connected up the ladder for anything bad to happen to them. They will walk.

7. It's in that peculiar Republican limbo between
"We cannot comment on ongoing investigations"

and

"Why bring that up? It's ancient history."
