Auctioned mobile homes to begin moving from Hope

LITTLE ROCK (AP) — More than 15,000 manufactured homes sold at a government auction are to soon be moved them from their storage site in Hope.

A partnership submitted the winning bid of $27.4 million to buy the travel trailers, mobile homes and park model trailers. They were sold despite objections from the manufactured-housing industry and the Arkansas congressional delegation.

What about the displaced people from NOLA? Have they been allowed to go home? Also, how much money did FEMA use to buy and get these trailer down there, just to deny their use, and they are now auctioned off? What the hell?!

1. I'd thought those things were condemned as uninhabitable
sewer backed up in them among other things as I recall.

4. We called them Katrina cottages.
Of course they weren't cottages to those who had to live in them. Some of them really weren't that bad. That is easy for me to say though. I never had to live in it.
