Some quick clarifications for Senate Republicans:
51 votes is a majority, not a "trick".

10 months of legislative negotiation is not "ramming through".

oh, and also...

Throwing yourself on the ground, flailing your arms and legs and screaming, "Noooooooo!" is not "negotiating in good faith".

1. You seem to be implying that there's some sort of connection
between what Republicans say and what they believe. There is a large amount of evidence to the contrary and lately, I've been getting the impression that a lot of people are realizing it, if even on a subconscious level. Consider this:

Tax cuts to the rich -> trickle down, good for the economy
Extending unemployment -> deficit

Blow up Iraq -> Fuck yeah!
Healthcare -> socialism

See, these are just things to say for them to do what they want. They don't believe their answers, and those answers aren't meant to be believed by anyone. It's just the way to defend what they want to do.
