I never realized what a toxic asshole Bush 41 was. |
|
I have just finished watching the documentary "Panama Deception".
Not having paid much attention to Bush 41 and Panama at the time, I am startled to realize how methodical the take over of that country was, and what an egotistical arrogant macho slime ball Bush was.
There really is little difference between how Panama was attacked and how Iraq was attacked. Suddenly, brutally, civilians murdered, the press carefully managed and limited, hospitals destroyed, media stations taken over, people rounded up and taken away in the middle of the night, and many people "disappeared".
The regime has been in force for a lot longer than we may realize.
Try to catch this doc if you can. It is eye-opening. I got my copy from Netflix.

1. Don't feel bad - I actually used to think that "Bomb Iran" song was funny |
|
Although I was never very impressed with Raygun and I had a pretty low opinion of daddy boosh.

14. Well, he's the only human being alive at the time who doesn't remember |
|
where he was when JFK was assassinated.
And he was in the CIA. And in Dallas that day.

6. I caught this on linktv several months ago--had to watch it twice because what it exposed was so |
|
unimaginably horrible. I knew the whole invasion thing was a crock from the start--but watching the truth about the depth of the lies, the machinations, the killings, the destruction, made me ill.

9. Many Americans are like mushrooms in the dark! This country does a lot of evil shit, but we |

are fed propaganda of how good we always are.

7. I could have told you that. But then I have family in Panama. |
|
And there's been stories of people haven been killed there for years. Oddly enough people in this country weren't all that interested in hearing about it.

of how we treat our neighbors in this hemisphere.

10. "they" forced him on reagan... |
|
then ran an alternate government. they under mined reagan`s israeli-lebanese diplomacy and gave him the scripts for the central american policy.there was a good reason why nancy consulted the signs to keep ron safe--she did`t trust the boys in the basement.

16. If you ever write a book, I wanna read it. |
|
But then, that might not be safe for you, I guess.
I was interested to see, on the doc, how the previous dictator died in a suspicious plane crash. You would think that after so many suspicious plane crashes, no person who opposed the gov't would ever get near a plane.

13. I petitioned PBS to air Panama Deception, and I got slapped down |
|
I wrote letters to PBS and threatened to stop donating. My local PBS kindly wrote back and said "Panama deception is not balanced" and they would not air it. Hell, it was THE balance against all the war cheer-leading.
My local PBS continued and said they would publish my letter in the local donor magazine. I got my issue and PBS published only letters that lauded their programming choices. No dissent.
King George the 1st was the CID, Director of the CIA. He was a very bad guy, but not insane like his predecessor and progeny. I knew a guy who was in Panama and said it was absolutely sick. He went from a hawk to a dove.
I stopped watching PBS after the bullshit Frontline on the Kennedy Assassination. They set a chalk filled skull on a ladder or something. When they shot it the chalk puffed backwards. They claimed that is how Kennedy's skull flap blew backwards and the entrance wound was in the front- when he was shot from behind. Screw PBS, just a sneaky ass Fox.
