Any weather people around? How can the weather service issue a Red Flag Warning |
|
even though we just had snow a few days ago and the ground is still moist
It seems we've been water logged here in Atlanta yet, we are getting fire warnings...AND I have seen brush fires.
I don't understand it.

1. While the leaf litter is soggy, high winds will dry the brush off fast |
|
and low humidity will intensify the effect. Hence: the red flag warning.
At least that's the way they work out west.
