A year and counting on unemployment for him. I was self employed so shit out of luck for me for over a year.
It's one way to get rid of excess baby boomers. No health care and no jobs. Brilliant.

5. Welcome to Republicanstan. |

My husband has been in his job for 15+ years, and is the best they have sales-wise, but his annual raise? 50 FUCKING CENTS.
Of course, at the same time, his health care cost, payable by him, went up. He's 58, so no chance of trying to find a better-paying job.

One of the scariest numbers of all is the number of now "Permanently Unemployed"--individuals who have been out of work so long that they are unemployable and just give up, attempt to retire, or struggle to exist.
