6. I don't know who the photographer is, but man....
I don't think I've seen too much like this in American riot reporting.

5. Whjat does Greek citizens not wanting to pay higher taxes have to do with...
invading Nazi armies?

(This could be us, or any other developed country, if we keep cutting taxes and raising benefits.)

rather than a discussion of invading armies.

If he was a resistance fighter in WWII, even if he was in his teens, then that would put him in his 70's now. I don't know too many 70 y.o. who are going to go out and get truncheoned, especially in the US.

on edit. Other than that, agreed. It may well be us if things don't improve.....

10. And people here want to see this in our streets
The thugs beat up the people who I didn't see had any weapons, not even a stick to fight back and the criminals are all safe and sound sending out the thugs. How does that help?

It's the criminals who need to be confronted. Not their thugs who only do one thing. Beat on and gas and push unarmed civilians who are protesting and then they say the people rioted.

14. Yeah, it takes a lot of guts to be beaten on by thugs armed to the teeth
while you have nothing but your bare hands. Real guts that.
