What I appreciate about Howe (and the late Bill Strauss) is that their theories carry some unbelievable predictability.

For instance, here are Strauss and Howe's shocking predictions on CSPAN in 1997 that there would be a crisis in the mid to late 2000's. They also explain their "Four Turnings" Theory.
