American al-Qaida spokesman lauds Fort Hood killer

(AP) – 8 hours ago

CAIRO — Al-Qaida's American-born spokesman has called on Muslims serving in the U.S. armed forces to emulate the Army major charged with killing 13 people in Fort Hood.

Adam Gadahn, who was raised in California, describes Maj. Nidal Hasan as a pioneer who should serve as a role model for other Muslims.

He urges Muslims in America to carry out attacks against U.S. and Western targets.

The video posted on a radical Islamic web site on Sunday featured Gadahn, also known as Azzam al-Amriki, dressed in white robes and wearing a white turban.

Gadahn converted to Islam and joined al-Qaida and was charged with treason in 2006. There is a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest or conviction.

1. Could His Capture Lead To Getting Osama Bin Laden?.....
Edited on Sun Mar-07-10 01:58 PM by global1
That is - if he is still alive.

How will this guy be interrogated? Will he be read his rights? Is he going to be termed and 'enemy combatant?

7. I think your sources may have alterior motives - so I didn't take her word for it either
I'm not convinced either way by the facts that are available. However, I think the "good doctor" is the one who is really in charge

15. Please explain the hidden motives of of Ms. Bhutto...
..or are you in the habit of slandering the dead?

As for interpreting facts, I wouldn't trust the judgment of someone who thinks "Alterior" is a word in English.

8. Most of the top 'terrorists' did, like Bush's old friend, Osama.
This whole terror thing, as a replacement for the Cold War excuse to spend more than half our budget on the war machine, makes me yawn quite frankly. The Politics of Fear, they want to keep it going and if there were no real terrorists, they would invent them, as they did with Al Zarqawi, well they turned him into something he was not.

There are more American deaths from lack of healthcare every day than any terrorist could dream of. Nearly half a million since 9/11. That's something to worry about.

Not to mention Americans murdering Americans, automobile deaths, drug over doses and on and on. This pretend 'threat' doesn't fool anyone into thinking this government cares one bit about the safety and well-being of Americans who sees a government that will do nothing to save American lives and in fact fight hard to prevent saving them, in order to keep the profit margins of their big business donors, high.

We are on our own and personally I will choose which 'boogieman' scares me. Right now, it certainly isn't fear of a terror attack, I'm sure there will be one sooner or later, it's always been around throughout history. My fear is for those Americans who are sick and poor and dying every day. And I am astounded that we are about to reward the very people who are responsible for that crime.

10. That about sums it up. The War on Terror is a money pit like the War on Drugs..
Noise to keep the machine fed, while the reality is America is nearly destroyed from those within D.C. much better than a terrorist could ever hope for.

11. let's not forget people's own choices to smoke and eat into obesity also
CDC estimates 2/3+ of all chronic illnesses related to those choices.

13. How much of that is choice or situational.. Working too many hours and raising a family
with too many bad choices and even "healthy" choices are actually bad once you read the content. HFCS in bread? Hamburger helper cheaper than making a caserole from scratch... Add to that the Monsanto/ monoculture of product... and chemicals/ dyes in most of all foods...

Maybe he is "Al Queda" terrorist by choice.. However, Al Quead is "the list" the CIA kept of "friendly" mujhadees(sp) back when the US trained and funded the Taliban to go against the Russians by proxy... AND a lot of money is fronted thru Asian banks to clean or move black ops. I wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't a CIA man... Perhaps they needed to finally extract him.

spare me.

it's still a choice.

no cigarette forces you you to smoke it

yet people smoke

it's THEIR decision

ditto for food.
