Parents protest barring child from Catholic School
Yeah, yeah, I know, the private school can keep them out if they want. But I ask, Why *this* kid? Do they bar the kids of parents who've commited adultery? Kids of parents who have divorced (which Catholicism forbids)? Kids of parents who are violent with one another? Kids of parents who have broken one of the Ten Commandments? (And yeah, I know, the idea that gay is even equated with any of these things is preposterous, but I'm coming at it from their frame here).

Really - gay is the only "sin" that Catholicism cannot ignore? Does that not strike even church-goers as a bit odd?

3. "If a child of gay parents comes to our school, and we teach that gay marriage is against the will
of God, then the child will think that we are saying their parents are bad," Breslin said on his blog. "We don't want to put any child in that tough position."

Is that a good point?

4. Are they teaching that divorce is wrong?
They did when I went. So how many kids of divorced parents go to that school, do you think? 50%?

8. My suggestion is to take the rejection as a favor...
...and to stop supporting that corrupt institution (I mean the R.C. church.)
