Is it right for the M$M to ignor the fact Oscars failed to mention Farrah Faucett who
died the same day Michael Jackson did at the Oscars tribute "moment" and none of these pricks want to touch the story.

12. She was in more movies than Michael Jackson was
He was, I believe, in one film, the musical The Wiz (I'm not talking about video compilations of his music or docs about him). She was in The Apostle, Cannonball Run, Extremities, Man of the House, Dr. T and His Women.

She was also married to Lee Majors and then lived with Ryan O'Neal for many years, both big film actors. Maybe that doesn't count, but it sure makes her part of Hollywood, together with her own film career. They really don't have an excuse on this one, seeing that they put Michael Jackson in there.

9. She was a Golden Globe nominee.
They could have flashed her photo for two seconds, imo.

Shame on the Academy. They also ignored Bea Arthur.

6. Shame on the Academy
Shame on the Academy Awards to ignore her. She was a hard working, accomplished, and loved actress and she SHOULD HAVE BEEN recognized. They made a terrible mistake.

8. I wonder what happened?
Did they purposely not include Farrah because she was primarily a television star or was
this a huge oversight?

She stared in the movie Extremities...I remember that one and she was nominated for a Golden
Globe for it. I think she won!

Wow, this is strange.

11. NBC Nightly News noticed it
Cited Fawcett, Bea Arthur and Henry Gibson as being omitted. Sometimes an oversight is just an oversight, and it's noticed by others.

I doubt any of the three noticed nor minded the oversight (or slight, which ever it was).

16. I heard it on CNN an d MSNBC
that Bea Arthur and Farrah Faucett were both left out. I also heard on one that when they checked with the Academy, they said they weren't omitted, they just could name everyone. I thought that was a very lame cya.
