Aftermath looks into the future and reveals what would happen if the world fundamentally changed, overnight. Tonight Aftermath takes a look at what would happen if we suddenly had no oil.

As I watch, and possessing more than a passing interest in Peak Oil, I can tell you now that what they describe in the show is a very real possibility of what things would look like in the absense of oil.

World oil production is currently on a downward trend. Indeed, we may already have passed the peak of oil production and entered an irreversible terminal decline.

1. FYI, today's price per barrel of crude oil: $81.52. The price at my
local pumps has climbed 24¢ in the last week.
