We SHOULD have an absolute policy of having OUR members of the House and Senate be just as obstructionist towards a GOP pres and Congress as they were to us.

We SHOULD end up in the streets building a mass resistance movement, as they did(or at least appeared to do).

Instead, our "leaders" will insist, if this situation happens, that we "owe it to the country" to cave in and let the 'Pugs have everything they want without a fight. Even though that approach did nothing for us in the Reagan=Bush and Bush the Second eras, they'll do it again.

Why won't they learn the lesson...the lesson that, when you lose, the only way to recover is to mobilize, fight back and speak with truth, conviction and passion?

If it does go bad...we'll need a RESISTANCE culture...but it won't be our leaders building it. It'll have to be us.

I hope it doesn't come to any of the above, but we need to be thinking about it just a little in order to get ready if it DOES happen.

2. "Liberal apologists, who long ago should have abandoned the Democratic Party, continue to make...
...pathetic appeals to a tone-deaf corporate state and Barack Obama while the working and middle class are ruthlessly stripped of rights, income and jobs. Liberals self-righteously condemn imperial wars and the looting of the U.S. Treasury by Wall Street but not the Democrats who are responsible. And the longer the liberal class dithers and speaks in the bloodless language of policies and programs, the more hated and irrelevant it becomes. No one has discredited American liberalism more than liberals themselves."

sigh.

The Dems won't do it. They can't. Anymore...
