Health Care: Yeah, I am VERY concerned with Mitch McConnell's heartfelt advice to us. |
|
Please, think about it.
I cannot believe I am reading posts here on DU in which Dems express their fear that McConnell and his colleagues are right in warning us that if we pass Health Care Reform, we are in BIG TROUBLE in the next elections.
Since when do the dumbest Republicans give us advice to HELP US win elections?
So, Mitch is really looking out for us now, is that it? He's advising us to drop passing Health Care so we don't lose a bunch of elections in November.
Are you kidding me?
What credibility in the world does Mitch McConnell's political counsel to us have?
How can any Democrat with even one third of a brain fall for this.
It has taken us 100 years to get to this point of passing health care, and just because a shrieking, strident minority of lunatics opposes Health Care Reform is no excuse to cave on his crucial issue.
Time will prove we are on the RIGHT SIDE OF HISTORY.
If we don't pass this now, there is no hope for it whatsoever.

1. One has to wonder the motive of anyone supporting McConnell here on DU |
|
Where are they coming from and why are they here.

2. Like the bill or not, its passing stands a great chance of putting more life in the dems |
|
Eight years of ultra Reich-Wing Empire is still a painful memory for many. And Mc-CON-nell has nothing to offer America but more years of teeth-gnashing and slash-and-burn governance.
But, hey, I also derive a great deal of pleasure from watching Mc-CON-nell's scrunched up little turtle face become more scrunched up and turtle-like when he gets his verbal smack-downs.

6. So true. It's bad for Dems, so he says don't do this. Unpopular bill |
|
yet they are against not only this "unpopular bill" but against the popular bill, the public option - and, they support the most unpopular bill which adds just 3 million insured? Some argument they are delivering eh?

9. I wouldn't take a Republican's word for it. |
|
But, frankly, I don't have to. I talk to enough moderates and independents to know that Obamacare, as it stands, is deeply unpopular.
