Poll question: If Congress passed a health care reform bill that included single payer option would Obama veto it? |
|
Would he risk the loss of campaign cash from the Health Insurance Industry by signing the bill? I bet he's sweating the possibility that Single Payer could be included in the Health care Reform Bill.

3. I don't think he'd veto it, no. |
|
I do think the administration would apply pressure to see it not included though.
I'd expect that if it starts looking like it could get close we'll see just that.

4. I would certainly hope not. |
|
He could definitely forget about re election if he did so.
They simply need to have the CBO score both HR 676 and SB 1218 (Ted Kennedy's 2007 Medicare for all bill) and then there will only be ONE argument left for private insurance.
And that is GREED of a criminal industry.
Obama knows damn well that everything I am saying is true. He called the industry out on their greed just yesterday, yet he still wants to reward them for their crimes with millions of new mandated customers?
It makes no fucking sense at all.
Score the REAL reform bills. Kill the lies. Fuck the insurance industry. Pass REFORM. Move on.
It really IS that fucking simple.

6. Are you talking about a public option? |
|

If that's the case, Obama certainly would not veto it if it's included in the reconciliation bill.
If you're talking about single payer, which entirely replaces private health insurance (unlike a public option), the point is moot. That idea is not even on the radar.

7. Yes, I should have said public option, but |
|
I think he might veto a HCR bill with a public option as well.
