For Those who Wish to Follow Health Care Reform: Where should we be looking?
Edited on Tue Mar-09-10 07:28 PM by Mike 03
Usually, I can Google any question I have and get an answer, but not this one.

I am expecting our party to attempt to pass Health Care Reform over the next couple of weeks, but is there anywhere we can go to get details, like, should we anticipate all-nighters in the Senate, which Committees should we be watching, where can we tune in to watch the debates, etc...?

Will C-Span cover all of this? CNN? What are you guys watching right now, in terms of moving this Health Care Plan through?

Do the two plans have to be combined, or can we worry about that later?

I apologize for my sloppy questions, but I have never in my life been through a political activity this momentous, important and intense, and I have no clue how this will work.

Thanks in advance for any links, advice.

1. The insurance companies win
Just a matter of how much.
Big Pharma already has.
And in 10 years will be back to struggling with the fact that the costs have spiraled out of control because this isn't health CARE reform, but health INSURANCE regulation.

4. Whether you agree with him or not ...
Ezra Klein's blog at the Washington Post contains the most information anywhere on the policy, the politics, the Congressional rules, etc.-- plus interviews with many of the players, be they Senators, Congresspersons, or policy wonks. And if you have questions, he chats every Thursday, I believe, so you can send a question.
