7. Rush did not say that. He was asked about where he would

get his health care if HCR passed.

Question: "If all this happens, what are you going to do?"

Answer: "Well, if doctors are not permitted to opt out of the government insurance pool and so forth, Medicare, Medicaid, whatever it is, and if they're not allowed to establish a private practice with private sector patients paying their own way, then I'll go to Costa Rica."

8. I saw him say that five minutes ago: he'll move to Costa Rica.

He was talking on his radio show. He began by saying that IF the health reform was passed and was in effect 5 years from now , then he would go to Costa Rica.

So we must be talking about two different instances.

Asked by a caller on Tuesday what he would do if health care passes, Limbaugh gave this response:

"I don't know. I'll just tell you this, if this passes and it's five years from now and all that stuff gets implemented, I am leaving the country. I'll go to Costa Rica."

The irony, of course, is that Costa Rica has socialized medicine. He'd probably have trouble finding a country with decent medical care that didn't.
