Connie Saltonstall declared her candidacy in the Democratic Primary, challenging Bart Stupak.

She has received an overwhelming response, with one of the first questions people are asking is "Where do I send my money?"

There has been some confusion about the right ActBlue link and as soon as I get it sorted out, I will post - stay tuned!

OK - I actually contacted Connie's campaign manager to verify the link to Connie's ActBlue Page and it is...

Turns out that someone grabbed Connie's name earlier today and was raising money for her, but without coordinating with the campaign. They have sorted it out now and all money contributed will to to Connie's election bid.

Being opposed the bart is a good start.

I'm hoping it is not her only redeeming value.

Is she likely to be less conservative than stupak? If so, I would donate money to her as a thankyou for running against him.

6. Other then the abortion issue, I don't think there's much of a difference.

Stupak has been endorsed by many unions over the years, opposed NAFTA and the Iraq War, is against use of the death penalty, and has a stellar record on environmental issues especially regarding the Great Lakes.

Connie Saltonstall has said she has supported Stupak for 20 years and her complaint about Stupak's stand on abortion is she is saying he is using it to hold up and threaten the passage of the health care bill currently before the House.
