Senate majority leader heads to hospital after rear-end collision in Washington
By Associated Press

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's wife and daughter are recovering in a Washington-area hospital after a car accident.

:(

Nothing about his daughter yet, though.

I just hate hearing stuff like this.

3. I figured it was pretty serious if they were admitted into a hospital.
And that doesn't sound too good. :(

4. I assumed it was just SOP for a Senator's family in DC -- that was before I read about
her neck injury. :(

Somebody wrote in the other thread that it is possible to break one's neck without affecting/damaging the spinal cord, so here's hoping that's the case here.

5. where is my tinfoil hat?
Damn, I wish I didn't think that the pukes would do something like this...to let Harry know they know where he lives.
:tinfoilhat:

I hope I'm wrong and this is just an accident without sinister undertones.
