Excellent House Appropriations Subcommittee hearing with Secretary Geithner.
Edited on Thu Mar-11-10 06:22 PM by Mike 03
It is so refreshing to see Tim Geithner appear before a committee that is intelligent, informed, educated when it comes to our history, and for the most part asks intelligent questions, and--no less astounding--permits him to make his case to those willing to listen to him for why the actions he has taken as Secretary of the Treasury make perfect--if not obvious--sense, without too many undue interruptions.

Not only is it amazing to see our legislators ask knowledgeable and pertinent questions, but it is stunning to see them behave civilized enough to listen to the answers.

For anybody who is fascinated by Treasury and what they are up against, and interested in the potential future prospects for our economy, you might want to watch this HASS hearing. It is very, very worthwhile.

Once again, hats off to C-span for archiving these moments in history.
