WY Gov Freudenthal signed HJR 2 claiming sovereignty on behalf of the State of Wyoming and for its
for its citizens under the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

Wyoming Governor Signs Sovereignty Resolution

In the 1790s Vice President Thomas Jefferson and James Madison submitted similar legislation to Kentucky and Virginia respectively for the same purpose. Kentucky’s in 1798 and 1799 and Virginia’s in 1798 in favor of states' rights under the Tenth Amendment.

I believe the summary below is for the resolution by Freudenthal.
Resolution-assertion of states' rights.
Subject: Expresses concern that Congress and federal executive branch agencies are enacting mandates to the states that are beyond the enumerated powers granted to Congress and the federal government.

Summary/Major Elements:

• This Joint Resolution to Congress:

o Expresses concern that Congress and federal executive branch agencies are enacting mandates to the states that are beyond the enumerated powers granted to Congress and the federal government by the U.S. Constitution;

o Asserts that rights reserved to the state under the 10th amendment to the U.S. Constitution are being infringed upon by Congress and federal regulatory agencies as a result of unconstitutional mandates;

o Demands that Congress cease and desist from enacting mandates that are beyond the scope of the enumerated powers granted to Congress by the U.S. Constitution;

o Asserts state sovereignty on behalf of the citizens of Wyoming;

o Calls upon other states to express their sentiments on acts not authorized by the U.S. Constitution;

o Demands that all compulsory federal legislation that directs states to comply under threat of civil or criminal penalties be prohibited or repealed.

Trying to establish a state currency based on silver mined in Idaho and assert gun rights free from federal control on any weapon made in the state if Idaho.

I live in the land of the lost.
