In 2008 mostly red yard signs for Republicans were rare around here. Now they are all blood red.

4. It varies by region of the country
Here in NY (and neighboring NJ) yard signs don't come out in force until the week or two before a general election. Back when I was in WA state, they were all over the place months before a general, and in strong supply way before the primaries.

2. i just dont get how people think republicans will help them when everything bad with the economy and

our infrastructure is so precisely because of republican trickle-on-people "philosophy" and the conservative or dlc dems who aided and abetted them over the last 30 years.

They (and we) can just kiss a quicker goodbye to the social security and medicare we PAID for. Well I guess the repubs can own the next & worse 2nd half of the recession.
