Capitalism: End Game
Edited on Thu Mar-11-10 09:57 PM by arcadian
What's it gonna be? I seriously don't think there is going to be any sort of public revolt. I think the acceptance of being enslaved will simply creep through generations and become the new normal. Private security firms are gonna be the name of the game in the coming decades.

1. Just like Vonnegut's "Player Piano," written about the same time as Eisenhower's warning
...about the military/industrial complex...

8. Capitalism will die when technological unemployment...
...drives unemployment and underemployment to levels that guarantee civil unrest. Capitalism is fundamentally incompatible with a truly high-tech, post-scarcity society.

10. It will be very difficult to rally Americans to set aside their potato chip bags........
and muster enough energy to pull themselves away from their LCD TVs and computer displays for a revolution, but I still have hope. I don't believe the American people (or the rest of the world) will continue to bow to the corporate world, wall street and government psychopaths and their insatiable greed. The anger among the masses grows each day and it will reach a boiling and spillover point, guaranteed. This country was founded by revolution against tyranny and it will do the same again. Look forward to seeing YOU on the battlefield.
