4. And 95% of the people won't even realize it.
I guess there's a reason those marketing types make their big fat salaries.

6. I think that it isn't taught in schools anymore....
Edited on Fri Mar-12-10 03:06 AM by Tx4obama
I'm 50 years old.
When we were in school we learned the proper titles of the folks in government.
We learned the U.S. Constitution, Bill of Rights, Declaration of Independence, etc. in SEVENTH AND EIGHTH grade.
Most schools don't teach civics and government anymore in grade school or high school.
My question is "What the hell are the teaching nowadays?."

The past few days I've been watching a bunch of the old and recent Jay Leno 'JayWalking' videos on YouTube and it seems like a tons of Americans don't really know shit about America anymore. It's no wonder that people/Americans are so easily misled by the republicans and media like FoxNews when the people/Americans don't know the truth/any facts to begin with.

8. I was listening to a news station yesterday, and the reporter actually said
Mr Obama and President Preval of Haiti. Called the President Mr. Obama several times. I don't know why, but that really pushed my buttons. It was a local Washington, DC station, so there is really no excuse. I haven't written the station yet, but I plan on it.
