1. Durbin is showing himself to be a coward...very disappointed in him...
...he's trying to cover his sorry ass when just yesterday he said putting the public option in an amendment would hurt the process, sorry, sorry CYA worthless politician.

2. Bogus interpretaion of the House by Durbin's spokesman.
House progressives would be MORE willing to vote for the reconciliation bill if they thought the Senate would improve it.

They're wary of the Senate making it worse or not passing it at all.
