Poll question: Be Honest
Edited on Fri Mar-12-10 02:40 PM by berni_mccoy
In the 2010 House elections in November, are you going to vote against your Rep, even if they voted for the Public Option that was passed by the House of Representatives?

2. My rep is a miserable Republican stooge.
DNC (under Dean) tried to help his opponent.

DCCC (under Rahm) declared the seat un-winnable and withdrew support.

Winder why I am no fan of Rahm?

3. I like my Rep a lot, Chris Murphy in the fifth district in CT.
We once had Nancy Johnson there so I know how bad it can get. Chris always supported a PO and is an all around good guy.

I like my rep. He gets my vote every time.

20. Cummings is a cool guy. I don't know what the point of the poll was either.
Typical though.

6. My Rep. is Pelosi --
who I have not supported since impeachment was off the table. Her duties as Speaker have interferred far too much with her ability to do the will of her contituents.

7. My allegedly "liberal" rep is retiring. I don't know how I'll vote yet.
If he hadn't been retiring I would have voted against him. But, not for his HCR stance (he voted against it) but because of his continued support for Obama's wars.

8. my rep is a blue dog, but she was the first dem elected to that seat in more than 35 years
and she sure as hell beats marilyn musgrave. i can't get that fired up about betsy markey and i'd love to see someone more progressive in her seat, but i don't know that it's possible given the makeup of our district.

10. To be totally honest you should put up a box saying
"I don't know who my rep is and I don't know how he or she voted."

11. My Congressman is Duncan Hunter II. No, I won't vote him.
Edited on Fri Mar-12-10 03:14 PM by Ozymanithrax
I wouldn't vote for him if he had voted for the public option. He voted against the Health Care Bill.

I will, however, vote against any Democrat, Republican, Independent that should run who voted against the Health Care Bill. I will withhold donations to those Democrats, but will donate money to any Democrat who primaries those un-progressive members of Congress that vote against the interests of the American people to help Republicans defeat the Health Care Bill.

I didn't vote in your pole because nothing fit my reasons and the Public Options wasn't an issue.

And my two senators are Lindsey Graham and Jim DimWitt. It does not get much worse than that!
