2. LMAO.. that's an actual poll? Yeah like we are doing so much for the environment
that it's costing jobs. What a fucking joke. Let the freeps have it. Gee if we actually tried investing in alternative energy sources we'd be creating jobs.

3. stupid idea
we've already lost all the traditional jobs to countries who care less about environmental standards then we do.

This will put us well on the way to losing all the green jobs as well.

4. What evidence is there that it would create jobs?
What a bullshit ploy by right-wing dickheads to get "inconvenient" regulations pulled.

5. Been waitin for this for 20+ years. Wages not the only reason for outsourcing
Corporations just don't want ANYBODY telling them what they can and can't do. They don't want environmental rules. They don't want worker safety rules. They want every penny they can squeeze out of production. All those regulations crimp their greed. So they go where they don't have to pretend to be good citizens.

Decades ago, I told anyone who would listen that the corporations would squeeze workers to the point the workers themselves would BEG to have environmental protections and worker protections dismantled.

Looks like we are just about there.

10. Nope. That's called cutting off one's nose to spite one's face. Or maybe
throwing out the baby with the bath water.

11. If you trash environmental laws to improve the unemployment situation...
... magically, we'll always have an unemployment situation.
