corporations that bribe them with perks and huge campaign donations or those million dollar jobs after they leave office.

6. You need to vote progressives in locally
In the Senate and Congress. The President only signs the legislation, the senate and house have to push it through and get votes for it.

8. Yeah, working on that, too. But the President doesn't just sign it.
He has the bully pulpit. Obama put so little effort into pushing a public option that it pretty much looks like he was never into it at all. (Not after election time, anyway.)
