Colorado middle school shooter heard voices, was placed on mental health hold

The man who shot students at Colorado's Deer Creek Middle School on February 23rd, injuring two children (one critically), was apparently hearing voices when he decided to open fire.

In 2002, Bruco "Bo" Strong Eagle Eastwood was put on a mental health hold by the Littleton Police Department because he said he was hearing voices coming from a Nielsen television box that had been installed in his apartment. That box was removed after his placement in the hospital, however, Eastwood claims the same voices were with him when the shooting occurred last month.

Also telling of his mental instability is the fact that Jefferson County Sheriff's Investigator Richard Creswell Gove said that during the interview with Eastwood, the suspect continually made gestures as if he were trying to remove or pick things off his skin. Eastwood claimed he was "trying to remove what he called transforming forces from his body".

As a consequence of last month's shooting, Eastwood critically wounded 14-year-old Matthew Thieu, who suffered rib and lung injuries in the shooting. He also wounded a second student, 13-year-old Reagan Weber, who was shot in her right arm. Both are fine now.

No clear motive has been deduced for this shooting, however Eastwood's father, War Eagle Eastwood admitted in an interview that Bruco had been upset with himself because he had been unable to pass a GED test in order to go into military service. He said Bruco had many anger issues and other problems in his past.

1. I take issue with the statement regarding the victims

"both are fine now". If I were their parents, or them, I wouldn't think "oh, I was shot, but I'm fine now!" What a ridiculous choice of phrasing.
If we don't get universal coverage that included mental health care, these incidents are going to grow ever more common.

This article could make you think that if you weren't following the story very closely. I was confused by it too, but I did some internet research and found that the shooter was a local ranch hand who had attended GED classes at a community college most recently. There was a teacher who tackled him to the ground to protect all of the other students.

4. I would really like to comment on that story.

But weather deception or supernatural, that event or story comes from a realy bad side.

Note that my last name is Eastwood, so it is never pleasant to hear of a different person with the same last name, but who is so messed up, or to read such backwards violent items in stories.

Anger and violence, opens doors to really bad things in some people, they are things to avoid.

It has enough correlations and then insults, that if I went with Glenn Beck thought process I could see a metaphor that is an insult.

So the attempt of such things is to get someone to look crazy by seeing something that correlates to events they only see.


Hard to explain, but one of the tactics in psycological warfare is to make your opponent look crazy. That can be done by encoded comments. For instance, lets say I knew the name of your pet, name of the some place you live, your actual name, what you thought about some issue, and 15 other things about you.

I could write a story that matches those items, but flip part of the story to make the person look really bad. In your mind you would see all the correlations, and would see in a Glenn Beck way, that their are enough correlations for it to be an analogy.

But if you respond to it, everyone else, that does not know the 15 correlations in the story, thinks your just nuts. It is a way to damage a persons credibility in a community.

I post this to illustrate a method of psycological warefare, it can be done by people, and it actually also can be done by bad spiritual stuff, if you believe in spiritual stuff existing.

The story itself is sad, and I only comment to show one of the tricks of evil that is used. The easiest way to know it is evil is by the deception and violence in it. It is not of the better side, nor of love, but is a tactic that is used quite often.
