Poll question: Which of these two organizations has a better chance of becoming a federal agency?
With fully sworn federal agents. Directors, IGs, Congressional budget oversight, etc.

3. My recommendation of this thread went nowhere, I'm sorry to say.
There are things I like about both of those groups, but the the prospect of either of them becoming a federal agency in our "modern" America deserves is so men-who-stare-at-goats surreal that it's worth a recommendation and a kick.

:kick:

4. Well PETA is already an acronym.
And if you really want to take the power away from the Republican party you should destroy the gun lobby, you could do that by stopping all hunting on Federal lands. You see that, Code Pink, PETA, guns! It's a DU trifecta!

:D

5. Happily, neither. "Power tends to corrupt.." and all that.
I'd hate to see either of them being bought off under the thumbs of politicians and they're corporate sugar daddies.
