7. Me, too...
Got a larger refund than last year, even though my income was cut by 5% thanks to the Bush Depression. Used the refund as part of the down payment on a new car I bought two weeks ago.

I set my appointment with my CPA for the first week of February every year. I usually have the refund back a couple of weeks later.

4. yep, but not sent in federal return
State taxes completed and e-filed.

Federal...completed, but they won't let me e-file because I qualify (and want) the first-time homebuyer credit - and they require paper copies of stuff for it...

So, I'll make copies/print stuff out and mail it tomorrow.

6. Mine are done,
I just haven't e-filed yet. I'm waiting until we get back from Nome on the 25th. There's no rush since we owe, as always.

10. No taxable income, finally.
It is one of those good news-bad news scenarios.

But...when I was working and filing, I always had the taxes sent in ON the Ides of March.

12. Turbo Tax me
:hi:

"E-filed" for the first time w/Turbo Tax.

I don't get anything back nor pay anything. Must file due to taxable dividends.

Income is too low to have to file State income taxes luckily (or not?).

:dem:

13. My payment voucher is sitting here on my desk in an envelope
while I try to figure out where the hell I'm going to get the money to pay what the accountant says I owe. Normally I owe a very small amount and once in awhile get a refund but for some odd and complex circumstances (and me having my head up my ass in 2009) I have a biiiggg tax bill this year.

14. This Friday at 10:00
Its complex enough I pay a local accountant to do all the paperwork. I watch it pretty close so I am only getting a pittance back

16. Delivered all to a CPA
so my name is not at the bottom of the returns.

A bit numerically challenged here -- tend to transpose digits. Usually have THREE results when trying to reconcile accounts -- one in Quicken, one from the bank and one in the checkbook. Sometimes off by a ridiculous amount.

Spent so much time trying to correct that I succumbed to paying for something that others seem to do in about 15 minutes for free.

18. E-filed in early February. I always try to get them done as soon as I can.
The one area in my life that I don't tend to procrastinate.
