Know your Democratic Leadership Council (DLC)
If it's broke don't fix it, nix it.

...DLC gave strong support for the 2003 invasion of Iraq

...DLC has received funding from the right-wing Bradley Foundation as well as from oil companies, military contractors, and various Fortune 500 companies

...DLC has essentially become an influential corporate and right-wing implant in the Democratic party. Marshall Wittmann, a former senior fellow at the DLC, former legislative director for the Christian Coalition, and former communications director for Republican senator John McCain, and Will Marshall, a vocal supporter of the war in Iraq, are among those associated with the DLC who have right-wing credentials.

...Joe Lieberman, another notable member of the DLC, endorsed Republican Senator John McCain for presidency in 2008

5. Indeed... the DLC is simply a front for GOP-style corporate infiltration,
and it's been remarkably successful, having drowned out and/or cowed all progressive discussion.

7. They are also no friend of the Obama administration.
They promoted Hillary's run against Obama (Bill Clinton was a chair).

14. DLCers took it all "off the table"
Investigations
Single Payer
Public Option

We need to stop ignoring;
Campaign contribution reform
Election reform
Media reform
Trade reform

But we've spent our wad on a bogus insurance company handout.
Some great people are thinking that table scraps are just gonna havta do. In the end, maybe they're right, until we take our party back.
