I don't know where to start.
On the other hand, it's so sad to see that these brain-dead heartless scumbags hate the idea of everyone (i.e. people that don't look like them) getting some sort of assistance and are so panicked by it. :(

You're going to need these things when it comes time to perform appendectomies and brain surgery, and for treating infections....

I say leave the ultimate health care decisions where they belong: WITH GOD! You are always free to PRAY TO DOCTOR GOD for healing. God’s healing can come through direct miracles or by God’s direction to charities and health care providers to help you.

When all else fails, there is nothing to keep you from treating yourself for your own ailments. Making ME pay should not be on the table.

the one ranting about trusting God and you won't need health care, and he he shouldn't have to pay for someone else's care.... ave 1. who do they think pays for emergency room visits of uninsured people right now?
2. He's so happy to let people die....what do you bet he is "pro-life?"
ETA., and this one:
"These twisted manipulations of rules to pass Obamacare basically without a vote clearly show Obama doesn’t have the votes to pass this monstrosity as the Constitution intends. The American people should have no mercy on any member of Congress that lets this happen. This is naked tyranny."
IT HAS ALREADY BEEN VOTED ON, DUMB ASS
And this one:
"One thing I know for sure. Taking away my own health care and forcing me, under penalty of the law, to buy something the government is selling is not constitutional."

Love how they run RIGHT for the dark hints of the coming violent "revolution." The streets will run red with the blood of True Patriots before they allow the Stalinist anathema of ... healthcare.
I love the guy halfway down the first thread with the ALL CAPS god rant. No one seems to notice. Crazy is just part of the scenery in Freeperville.

Yeah, freeper.... and you pay the premiums every month anyway, just IN CASE YOU GET SICK.
Now your neighbor, who currently IS sick, who has the same plan, reaps the healthcare that you paid for. And if you got sick, you'd be the one getting the care from someone on the same plan who is currently healthy. Because HEALTH INSURANCE IS A POOL OF RISK.
That's HOW HEALTH INSURANCE WORKS!!! Duh.
What do you think? The health insurance company is saving up all your money in a special Swiss account just for you? Oh yeah.. that's called Health Savings accounts, not really a insurance plan. If you have that kind of "insurance" and get hit by the proverbial bus, then you pay. What? You don't have $300,000.00 saved? Too bad, the hospital will have to sue you for the rest of your life.
They really ARE Neanderthals, huh?
And what's all this about *slaughter*? Do we need to call Agent Mike?
Extremely disturbing that they are such self-centered STUPID infants. Brainwashed by Faux. Words fail me. I'll stop now.

13. Perhaps even more likely |
|
You (Mr. Freeper) will contract Hepatitis from eating tainted food (don't want to waste all the tax $ on health inspectors, now do you?) or some other contagious disease from somebody who couldn't get vaccinated because they couldn't afford it.
These people don't have any concept of how "socialist" programs like vaccinations, clean water supplies, and food inspections have made pretty much eradicated things like Typhus, dysentery, cholera, etc.
The reason they've been able to "make the right choices" to keep themselves healthy is that these things have all been taken care of for them--by the government!

14. George Bush did NOT try to impose his will on the American People???? |
|
No he didn't try...he did impose his will on the American People. They didn't want him to invade a neutral country HE DID. They wanted him to pull out of Iraq HE WOULDN'T. They wanted him to stop monitoring their phone calls and email. HE WOULDN'T. I could go on and on but those right there are enough. This egomaniac imposed his will every time he opened that smirking mouth of his.

18. Making an effort to understand them ... |
|
rather than deride and ridicule, seems to be a thoughtful and productive way to go. If one considers them to be "ignorant" or close-minded about certain subjects, then the more informed and free thinking side of this huge divide would bear the onus of more careful consideration.
Living amongst people who labor under variations of that mindset gives insights and generalizing is easy, though it is not always accurate.
I am sure many of us see obvious errors in their understanding of this system. I get the impression that one of their major pitfalls is that they are thinking in a bubble of an older mindset that was drilled into them and reinforced with the carrot of "work hard and you can be a rich bastard like them someday." I don't thin it matters if they see little or no success around them in that matter. A dream is a dream and illusions are rampant.
While you could write a thesis on this subject, many of the errors and much of their misdirection results from tacitly accepting what they are told is true, it appears. Like most cohesive groups, they form alliances or connections with those who agree with their overall perspective and argue with or condemn the rest using hyperbolic repetitions.
I think it is rather easy to find and point out where they are inebriated by propaganda that plays on their basic principles and tenets, so, I won't enumerate them, though some posters have here already.
It is a divide that may seem impossible to bridge, but many divides are like that. At least, I find myself having less antipathy and more sympathy for people walking around in a darkened cave and calling shadows on the wall truth they would fight or die for, (regardless of if they actually would or not0. They empower their real threats and enemies with that while they focus on a handful of terms that appear to represent a narrow-minded xenophobia.

21. Conservatives bet everything on killing this bill, now that they have lost that bet |
|
they have begun to understand exactly what they had bet.
Democrats may take a beating this cycle but we will be running on this for decades. It will be added to the list of social reforms that helped change America along with Social Security and Medicare.
Not that I am crazy about this bill. I agree that "the perfect shouldn't be the enemy of the good" but we are now at the point where the unacceptable is the enemy of the barely acceptable.
