Here's what Cindy Sheehan is up to |
|
Fron CNN's web site this morning:
Cindy Sheehan: The anti-war activist — who camped near former President George W. Bush's ranch in Crawford, Texas, five years ago demanding an explanation for her son's death in Iraq — is building a tent city today near the Washington Monument.
The Hill reports Sheehan wants Obama to pull troops out of Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan

8. Isn't there progress in doing that. |
|
why doesn't she direct her efforts to something else. They are starting to pull them out of Iraq and soon the other places. I think since she is such an activist she should start to concentrate her efforts on Health Care, Jobs, and the rest of the stuff Obama administration is trying to pass. Better yet start a campaign against the obstructionist republicans. She can really get things going and this would be a wonderful effort on her part.

She has a Facebook page and a couple websites. Let her know what you think and then report back to us with her reply.

you have no idea.
and her son died in a war criminal's war..for corporate profit. think about it. your child dying to enrich oil companies.
she is doing exactly what any parent who loves their child would do.

|
You don't. You've never met me beyond a few words exchanged on the Internet. Don't suppose that you can predict what I would do in such a situation. I certainly wouldn't conduct myself as Cindy has. My reaction would likely be vengeful and grisly, but conducted in as much obscurity as I could manage.

lion's den to face the cowards. Cindy isn't mad. She's determined in a way most of us aren't because it requires us going out of our life, our comfort zone, our usual way of doing things. She is a righteous woman, Our Cindy. She forgot more about guts, goodness and courage than most of us will ever know. I love her.

23. Cindy is three or four steps ahead of the rest of us |
|
It wasn't long ago that everyone, Democrat and Republican alike, thought she was just a nut for going after the current administration with as much vim as she went after the previous. Now, not so much. She's the most lucid one of us all.
