Am I hallucinating, or did Tweety
Edited on Mon Mar-15-10 04:08 PM by PCIntern
say, about six weeks ago, that there was no way that the HCR Bill would pass via Reconciliation? that he had served with Tip O'Neill (which makes him an expert (as opposed to Anne Elk)) and that, I believe it was Grayson, whom he accused of being incompetent and a fool b/c he (Grayson) said that it might well have to happen this way.

Tweety seems to have forgotten this conversation...

1. He was relentless in his belittling of Grayson.

9. I caught a bit of his pathetic coverage last
week of our VP in Israel. He should be taken off air on his spitting alone, all guests should demand protective masks. Disgusting.

3. Jesus, when has he ever held himself to being right about anything?
Edited on Mon Mar-15-10 04:07 PM by Richardo
He just spews whatever crap just happens to be in his brain's speech center at that particular moment and moves on.

5. He was FOR the Iraq invasion before he was AGAINST it. It took him until '04 to figure it out.

8. Your analysis is spot on.
The clinical term, I believe, is "diarrhea of the mouth."

;)

6. Lawrence O'Donnell said that procedural votes within reconciliation require 60 votes
I like Lawrence but wonder if he was right about that.

As for Tweety, oh brother. According to him we were "all neocons now!". :eyes:

7. Not that I would waste a minute actually watching Tweety

but from what makes its way into DU (which, BTW, is plenty), I've observed that, politically, he's a willow tree - bending in whatever direction the prevailing winds take him. I don't believe his powers of observation are any more acutely attuned than anyone else's, but that's how he makes a living: by dipping into the 'no shit, Sherlock' file, coming up with what passes for 'conventional wisdom' on that particular day, and then bloviating loudly around that scant handful of talking points. I feel that his 'talent' is far from rare, and that anyone with modest skills could take his place...provided they could stand to view their own image in the mirror the morning after a night's work of whoredom in punditry.

10. Tweety has been worthless for years
since his tingle in his tighty whities over bush in his flight uniform.

11. I also think Tweets gets jealous of smart guys..i.e. Grayson, who
could verbally cut Tweets in half if he had a mind to. It's Monday, by Wednesday the other Tweets will be back.

create memory lapse.
