Yesterday, I was mulling over the 80s, you know, when Raygun was in office.
remember all the kudos he got from people for 'opening up China' and all the kudos he got from people for 'making China our new friends'?
and then I realized the Shock Doctrine behind the whole idea of China...the business people whispering in Reagan's ear, the need to open China for cheap labour, to give the corporations in the 80s HUGE tax breaks , lie to the US public that the tax breaks would somehow make corporations build HERE....
and the whole PLAN was not to be friendly with China at all, but to allow US corporations access to cheap slave labour ...China was a HUGE cheap labour pool for them...and no unions or demands from the workers, no regulations..etc
today Main Street is dead because of this.
and people like Clinton fed the monster, with NAFTA...
but I watched it start with Reagan and it has been sliding into hell ever since.
