Is there a link to the document?

Is there Medicare expansion or a PO?

1. No one seems to know, which makes me think Pelosi doesn't know either.
She seems to have a moistened finger in the wind to see which way sentiment is blowing. As a result then she will decide on what fixes she can make if any.

6. Oh come on. They want to vote on it Saturday and she doesn't know?
That is hardly Nancy.

While Obama's 11 page plan is a guide to it, it is being worked out by house.
The house has been doing the mark-ups on it which has been on c-span 3...
if that is what you mean by finger in the wind.

2. Technocratic panderings

They will make adjustments and measures in an experiment to force the private for-profit market to produce and distribute the most amount of services to the most people, all while not threatining the actual existance of the private companies

The "fixes" will probably be some more handwaving and experimental band-aids. Maybe a few numbers will change too. I doubt the fundementals of the Senate Bill will change at all

3. We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.
In her own words.

4. A real fix
Progressives should focus on the "Fix Bill" because within this bill is the solution to all our problems.

First to summarize:

The people wanting to pass the current bill seem to focus mainly on the following argument. We need a political victory or the Republicans will win.
They follow that argument by asserting that even though they know its not perfect, it has some good things in the bill and is a good start. they further state that the bad things about the bill will be fixed.

The current state is they want the House to pass the Senate Bill on a promise that the Senate Bill will then be fixed. This brings up what will these fixes be and the solution is obvious and provides wins all around.

1. First, the House passes the Senate Bill which is signed into law.
2. Second, the House and Senate pass (and Obama signs) the Fix it Bill which repeals the Health Care Reform Act of 2010 in its entirety.
3. Then they proceed to fix the Health Care and Insurance system in ways that work rather than passing a bad bill.

This allows all democrats to get their political victories now without screwing up the system. They will have passed Health Care and Fixed its problems.
It will be a good start by not going directly down the wrong path. We take away the political issue from the Republicans who are guaranteed to run on repealing this Health Care bill. Hard for them to run on something that the Democrats have already done.

All it takes is some creative thinkers, to think outside the box and the Democrats can do it all. After all nothing says that the Fix Bill cant be a repeal Bill
