11. Of Course. In Fact, Probably The Silliest Return Question I've Ever Been Asked. |

Kinda made me laugh a bit though. Didn't expect a weird response like that.

9. Well Rosie is so totally not worried about it |
|
She's got her family (a serious hottie of a partner in Kelli), wonderful kids who adore her, great friends, a hot blog, and many, many plans for the future.
Not a bad bed if you ask me.

7. Don't forget that BOTH Imus and Rosie support IMPEACHMENT. |
|
Edited on Mon Apr-30-07 10:13 PM by partylessinOhio
That is the major reason that both were targeted and will no longer be working in the media.
Edit to add:
How silly of me to think I have a right to an opinion on Imus and Rosie. You just never know about people - you just never know.

10. Well, that's a bit of illogical logic. Two TV job situations came to an end. So what? |

Some people just don't like Rosie and some people just don't like Imus. That's the way it is in the entertainment business. Why would their opinions on impeachment have anything to do with their leaving or being let go?
Rosie signed a year contract with ABC. It's expiring. She doesn't want to continue. She has a partner and kids. And she's rich! Those are big "pulls" on someone who is trying to do a daily show. Ask me. I started in radio with two kids under age 3 and an all-night 11 PM to 5 AM program. I was divorced and had no income. I was desperate for work, and took over Larry King's program when he was arrested. The next job took me to Boston, where I took care of two kids AND the dog in a small apartment, and worked six days a week -- including Saturday, with only Sunday off. These are hard jobs, whether you think so or not.
On "The View" this morning, the liberal, Jewish maven Barbara Walters took umbrage with two female Fox reporters who said that she (Walters) had fired Rosie. She claims it didn't happen that way at all, and that no one at Fox News EVER CALLED HER to check on the story. It was just OPINION.
Don Imus had reached the end of his run on radio -- old, tired, raunchy and rich -- and he made one too many ugly comments. I called for his retirement years ago. His show just wasn't working anymore -- at least for me.
Ahem... how many years did you say you were in broadcasting? My resume says more than three decades. PM me if you want to see it. Go to my web journal and read about me in the right column.
Good night and good luck.
