Can someone with more knowledge than me answer a question or two about impeachment? |
|
After reading several websites listing many apparent crimes that our "President" has committed against the American people, the thing I don't understand is this:
If actual crimes have been committed and there is evidence exists to prove that crimes have been committed, doesn't the ENTIRE Congress have a fiduciary duty to the country to attempt to impeach the President, regardless of whether it "has the votes" to accomplish the President's removal from office?
Even if their actions don't bring about the President's removal from office, it would at least show the world and our children that such behavior IS NOT OK.
What is this saying to our children, much less the rest of the world as our representatives sit on their hands and wait for somebody else to take action? Each member of Congress takes an oath to uphold the Constitution. Apparently, it would seem they don't take their duty seriously. Maybe the entire Congress should be impeached?
