Poll question: What would you do with the District of Columbia?
I'm curious to see where DU stands on this issue currently.

Disclaimer - I realize that some of these options might require an amendment, not merely a congressional vote.

16. Don't necessarily count on that always being true
The demographics of DC are changing. I think it will remaing a Democratic stronghold, but very possibly not at the levels of today.

17. I can't speak for this poster, but what he may be referring to is that the wise founding fathers...
..built our capital in a swamp. It is murderously hot and muggy in summer...it is freezing cold in winter.

..or maybe that's not what he meant

Wyoming - 544,270

District of Columbia - 599,657


Either make Washington DC a state, or revoke Wyoming's statehood. N'est-ce pas?
