Can't say enough about how much I like this lady. She does the best interviews in TV NOW and in the past...and I go back as far as Murrow, Cronkite, Brinkley, you name'em.
Her interview with Geitner taught me more anybody has before about the breakdown. She went at him full speed and his soul was showing in his face by the time he was through. I thought I could see his admiration for her.
And the way she begged General Petranious to come on her show, offering him the 8 min. the Senate wouldn't allow him, or 18, or even 28..to discuss his view on gays. "Please come," she gently asks.
And J. D. Hayworth - she cleared up his allegation that her staff wasn't doing a good job in research - and it turns up they were right. I especially enjoyed the remark Rachel made after she read Hayworth's definition of gay marriage as the legalization of intimacy. I think it was Massachusetts. - she said she read it again and "I and my mare do not agree."
I like to tape Dylan, Ed's and Rachel's programs to play over Sat. and Sun. when MSNBC has nothing but jail programs.

1. She is one of the only ones who doesn't let someone get away with skirting |
|
around a real answer. And she gives them time to respond and sincerely listens -- a dialogue.
I learn more from her about all sorts of issues than I do from anybody else.
I was thinking tonight, hope Obama is watching this. Geithner seems in the bubble which I imagine happens to everyone in that environment -- Rachel still has her feet on the ground and keeps it real. As do Ed and Dylan. :hi:

5. Everything you say about him is true |
|
However, I consider him no worse than McCain on any of these issues.
Keep in mind that Palin has endorsed McCain, and a loss in the republican primary would more or less put the kibosh on Palin as any kind of a force in the party.
I dislike Hayworth as much as anybody but I'm kind of looking forward to McCain getting told to go fuck himself by the very right wing voters he has spent the past couple of years sucking up to.

7. But this guy has been here and done that... He really is a POS.. At least with McCain |
|
we know what we have and he is not going to be a new surprise. McCain is certainly not going to run for President again, and who knows with this POS?

8. Yes, Rachel is very special! And she seems to have an excellent |
|
moral compass that leads her to ask the right question and to detect lies!
She is great!
