Kucinich has been under increasingly intense pressure to give in and vote for the bill, but I'm sure the insurance companies are smiling that all is going according to plan.

5. I support the bill and always said if we did not really need his vote then we didn't need to |
|
pressure him. We needed his vote and I am happy he made this decision.

6. I cannot vote in this poll. I am too conflicted. |
|
I'm having an existential argument with myself over this thing. I want to believe our president and perhaps I lean more to being in favor of it than not, but I am aghast that the public option just crashed and burned with Democrats in charge of the WH and the Congress. It has only gotten worse in the past couple of months, IMO.
And where are our assurances that we can fix it later? How will we do that? If someone could give me an outline of how, I'd be happy to study it. If there IS a plan I haven't heard of it...
If I'm wrong and there is a plan to fix it, I'm open to talking about it...

7. Yes. It WILL pass. It Will be an improvement, and it WILL be at least |
|
a starting point to build on.
I applaud DK's decision especially in the face of so much publicity that he was against the bill-took real guts to do this.

If something magical happens in reconcilliation that radically changes this bill for the better and that DK was privy to in advance, I may change my opinion.
