Kucinich for the Senate??? |
|
Edited on Wed Mar-17-10 10:06 AM by fadedrose
Senator George V. Voinovich (R-OH) is retiring.
I am so so so broke but couldn't pass up an opportunity to send Dennis a tiny contribution if he decides to run. Nobody more worthy to be a senator.

3. Do you mean that he is trading his vote for a Senate seat? |

I don't quite understand your way of expressing yourself, ie, "Sold Kill the Billers Down the River.." What do you mean?
I haven't heard anyone but ME mention Dennis for the Senate as of this posting.

6. Just like with Obama, there is no middle ground right? |
|
You either love him or you hate him. If you disagree with what he says or does, then that means you hate him.
How could you ever argue with such flawless logic?

5. Nope, he could never be elected to a statewide office. Won't happen. |
|
He can get reelected in his own district until he doesn't run, but a member of Congress is the highest elected political office he will ever hold.

10. No chance. He has no state-wide chance at all. He would run |
|
competitively in Cuyahoga County, would carry Athens, run fairly well in precincts of greater Columbus, plus in and around Dayton.
And that's about it.
He'd lose resoundingly in most other districts of the state, especially in Butler and Warren counties, for example, and broadly across districts currently represented by John Boehner and Mean Jean Schmidt.
If Kucinich wants to run for a state-wide office he should move to a state where he stands a fighting chance. Ohio is not that state.
