Access to affordable medical treatment will decide the fate of democrats
If this bill passes and working people see their out of pocket medical costs go down, we will win.
If this bill passes and working people see an increase in their out of pocket medical expenses, the GOP wins.

1. How about those that see neither?
The vast majority of people won't be immediately affected by this. But there will be those "selling" that everything bad happening is due to "changes in the health care laws". You can bet that the insurance companies will "explain" how increases in premiums are due to the provisions of this bill.

2. that is what for profit health insurance is designed to do
medical treatment cures or prevents illness.
for profit health insurance provides access to medical treatment for a profit. The less treatment that is provided, the more profitable it is.

Since the insurance lobbyist and the dems wrote the bill, claimed it is better then the status quo, and that single payer / public option make baby Jesus cry, we will face the effect of passing the bill.

Right now I pay $40.oo per visit as a co-pay. I bet I will be paying $45.oo or $50.oo this time next year. imho, the cost of my medical treatment will rise because I have for profit health insurance, and they need to make a profit. There is nothing wrong with that, except I cannot afford medical treatment.
