I don't support medical insurance company give-aways, but if this is all we get, I guess we have to take what they give.

a work in progress when signed into law.

9. It has never been Collegial. Sure gingrich and the christian right

made it a meaner place, but it has never been a nice place. There was a lot of mean underhanded shit going on during the Civil Rights years. It's amazing it got passed. The actions and rhetoric of the right (in chamber and on the streets) might have flipped lawmakers over to being in favor of human rights for African Americans. It cost the Democrats' hold on the south.
