Just asking because my neighbor proudly displays his political signs in his window like COUNTRY First, Hands off my healthcare and I am sick of it. He works at a Christian school. Anything I can do? I am sick of it.

1. If it's a private school -- they can have any agenda they want.

14. No, just a thicker skin.
There are literally hundreds of millions of idiots out there.

Discounting the willful idiots in red, about 20% of the US population doesn't know one way or the other if evolution is true. That's 60 million people who are too stupid to evaluate information, added to the 120 million or so who think that Jesus rode a dinosaur.

It's depressing, but true: Lots of people are idiots and it takes conditioning to not let them get to you.

2. Suck it up and deal with it?
Unless his window is part of a public school classroom, he's just exercising his right to free speech. He may be a complete moron, but he still has the right to flaunt that fact.

5. If you live in a neighborhood with an HOA...
check the rules. Many HOAs ban religious/political/whateverthehelltheyfeellike signs.

6. Just because he teaches at a Christian school doesn't mean he....
loses his right to free speech in his own home. It is his constitutional right to display those signs, like it or not.

8. No, you don't have the right to curtail free speech
Even if you don't agree with it.

You would seriously try to get someone in trouble with their employer because they have different political views than you?

Then probably nothing to prevent.

ALWAYS

from the Handbook for the Christian school I went to growing up:

(Scroll down to Bible Curriculum)

"Education, as we know it in America, has a Christian heritage. When our forefathers came to this country, the first building to be erected, after providing for their shelter, was a church. It was this church building that often served as the community school. In these schools, the pastors and preachers were usually the principals and professors.

We revere America’s past. We salute the flag and say the Pledge of Allegiance regularly; we also sing patriotic songs. A program of patriotism develops a real love for country based upon an appreciation of our American heritage and the Christian principles upon which America was founded."

Also, just to put it into perspective:
"Faculty

All teachers are born-again believers – Christians who are dedicated to teaching. We seek to have teachers of the highest spiritual and academic quality."
(Listed under Faculty)

"The A Beka curriculum and Bob Jones University curriculum is used throughout the high school. "
(This one is listed under "Secondary."

And to think, they have actually lightened up A LOT on their hellfire and damnation, everyone is going to hell, dark people are the literal spawn of Satan rhetoric since I went there back in the late 70s.

God, I hope I get to go to hell when I die so I won't have to spend eternity with that bunch.
:banghead:
