I got to laugh when Clyburn was asked
if there were behind the scenes agreements.

Look I don't care how much they deny it. But that's how politics WORKS.

Now some people are too naive to realize this, and I will say it... principles in politics? Perhaps in another planet... but I am betting in some wheeling and dealing, regardless.

And all of you who thought that there are ahem principles, wake up and smell the coffee. Me, yes, go ahead, call me a cynic... since I am. A world class cynic to be exact.

1. he probably was tempted to laugh too
how did he answer? I'm sure he stifled the urge to say something sarcastic.

2. As far as HE KNOWS his office has not done any of that hanky panky
and truth be told, as far as he knows he might be correct. That's how the game is played.

:-)

I know, cynic...

5. Tweety was not naive enough
he was hoping to snare him.

Of course Clyburn has been around the block a few times. And his office is not playing those games.

:-)

Of course they are not. The whip usually does not.

6. I love Jim Clyburn
One of the few folks representing SC of whom we can be proud.
