Source: Associated Press

A California attorney who leads a movement challenging President Barack Obama's citizenship plans to run for secretary of state in November.

Orange County Registrar of Voters Neal Kelley said Wednesday that Orly Taitz, a leader of the so-called birther movement, has qualified as a candidate.

She plans to challenge fellow Republican Damon Dunn, a former NFL player living in Irvine, for her party's nomination.

1. Oh NO.
She must be stopped.

I would never vote for a Republican.....but I'm tempted.

Except our primaries are closed.

I hope Damon Dunn beats the hell out of her.

:scared:

2. As a Decline to State
I was sent a postcard recently asking whether I want a Democratic or Republican ballot for the primary. I chose Republican, and now I'm glad I did.

3. Oh, good!
You can vote against her.

How do you feel about the proposition that would give us open primaries?

6. Or I can vote *for* her
... and guarantee an easy re-election victory for Debra Bowen, while shining the spotlight on the ugly hatred of Ms. Taitz so brightly that she will never smear her mascara in public ever again.

Open primaries? I'm still meh on them. Parties should be able to control their own party, but then again, they let the decline-to-state riff-raff into their primaries, so who knows.

7. No! Vote FOR her!
She's a joke. Let her embarrass the Republican party. They deserve it because they have been been more than willing to use these crackpots to drum up business and support.

You reap what your sow. Let her become the face of the Republican Party. It couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of people.

11. WHERE'S HER BIRTH CERTIFICATE?!?!?!?
I know, that's probably not a requirement, but wouldn't it be great if thousands protested her at every step demanding to see the original?
