6. What He Wants Is What His Bishop Pals Want
You know, those guys who have allowed pedophilia and cruelty to run rampant throughout the entire world, and that is to subjugate women and control their choices and bodies.

8. He's using abortion as an excuse. The Family was formed to protect the rich.

From unions and taxes. That's all they care about. It's all in Jeff Sharlet's book The Family!

Stupak is just protecting the 'for-profit' system.

16. And what is he whining about?
Will this force federal dollars to pay for a legal medical procedure? It will not. Here's the tangential relationship Stupak is trying to cut: If a person gets help paying for her medical insurance, she cannot buy a policy that will cover abortion. If she wants to have abortion covered, she will have to purchase a separate rider that covers women's reproductive health. In Stupak's mind, if a woman doesn't spend her own money to buy medical insurance in the first place, then the subsidy or the tax credit she receives translates into federal dollars purchasing her reproductive health rider to her insurance policy.

The connection is so tenuous as to be unbelievable. By Stupak's "logic," any tax credit, subsidy or benefit finances or reduces the cost of everything a person may elect to do, and MUST be subject to his whim as to whether it should be allowed. Is it a ridiculous assertion? Of course it is. And I'm sure the person interviewing Mr. Stupak has made that point abundantly clear, right?
